“Widely considered the best college value in New York City”

Baruch College is one of the nation's best colleges for academics, affordability, and for “getting their graduates out the door to satisfying and rewarding careers,” according to The Princeton Review in its just-released 2017 edition.

Baruch is one of 200 schools that the education services company profiles in its updated annual guide: Colleges That Pay You Back: The 200 Schools That Give You the Best Bang for Your Tuition Buck. The schools are also featured on The Princeton Review’s site.

This past Tuesday, NBC’s “Today Show” featured Robert Franek from the Princeton Review who highlighted Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business as a top school on the list that offers a major in finance. Check out the clip here.

In the “Career Information" section of Baruch’s profile, Princeton Review notes that the College “does a fantastic job preparing students for very successful careers.” It singles out the Starr Career Development Center to “help undergrads jumpstart their professional lives” and the Executives on Campus program that pairs students with mentors.

The Princeton Review also praises Baruch’s affordability, value, and location. It states “Even if you’re paying out of pocket, tuition here is low and factoring in the school’s strong reputation and awesome location, it’s a truly amazing deal.”

Methodology: According to The Princeton Review, it selected the 200 schools based on a comprehensive analysis of more than 650 colleges that weighted 40+ data points to tally ROI ratings for the schools. Data analyzed covered academics, cost, financial aid, graduation rates, student debt and more. The company collected that data from its 2015-16 surveys of administrators and students at the schools. It factored in data from PayScale from their online compensation survey on starting and mid-career salaries of alumni of the schools.
