Baruch College Ranked Among Top 25 for Entrepreneurship by Princeton Review and Entrepreneur Magazine
Baruch College has been placed at #25 on the “Top 25 Undergraduate Programs for Entrepreneurship” list released today by The Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. For the sixth year in a row, the College was chosen for this annual list from more than 2,000 schools surveyed by The Princeton Review for Entrepreneurmagazine. Evaluations were based on key criteria such as teaching entrepreneurship business fundamentals in the classroom; staffing departments with successful entrepreneurs; excellence in mentorship; and providing experiential or entrepreneurial opportunities outside of the classroom.
With 590 enrolled students in Baruch’s entrepreneurship courses for fall 2013, eight full-time faculty including three endowed chaired professors and 12 adjunct faculty, the entrepreneurship program at Baruch College stands as an educational leader in entrepreneurship in the country.
The program’s faculty are experts in all aspects of entrepreneurship and include Dr. Edward Rogoff, who was named the 2010 Entrepreneurship Educator of the Year by the U.S. Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship.
Undergraduate and graduate academic programs in entrepreneurship at Baruch College are under the auspices of The Lawrence N. Field Programs in Entrepreneurship based at the Zicklin School of Business. In addition to academics, the Field Programs conduct internationally recognized research and offer an extensive array of counseling and consulting services through the Baruch Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Lawrence H. Field Center for Entrepreneurship.
