Baruch College Ranks Among "Best Colleges" in U.S. in Princeton Review's 2016 Guide
Baruch College has been named one of the country’s best undergraduate colleges by The Princeton Review. The 2016 edition of the annual guide, “The Best 380 Colleges,” includes Baruch for the eighth consecutive year.
The main list of 380 colleges is unranked, but the guide also provides top 20 rankings in a number of categories. Baruch ranked:
- #15 “Got Milk?”
- #18 “Stone Cold Sober School”
The rankings are based on the guide’s survey of students. “Tuition here is low - and factoring in the school’s strong reputation and awesome location, it’s a truly amazing deal,” one student said, while another called Baruch “the best college value in New York City.”
In the survey, students said Baruch’s Zicklin School of Business offers a “very demanding business-oriented program that provides a great education,” and it is easy for go-getters to access “unparalleled internships, career, and networking opportunities to major global companies’ headquarters.” Also, the “hardworking” student body could well make Baruch “the most diverse university in the country.”
Students also said that the career office “works tirelessly to prepare its students for the working world,” with resources such as workshops for writing résumés , career counseling, and mock interviews.
