Baruch Professor Prakash Sethi Among Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business 2014

S. Prakash Sethi, University Distinguished Professor of Management in the Zicklin School of Business, has been recently recognized among the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business, by Trust Across America-Trust Around the World.

S. Prakash Sethi, University Distinguished Professor of Management in the Zicklin School of Business, has been recently recognized among the Top 100 Thought Leaders in Trustworthy Business, by Trust Across America-Trust Around the World.

For five years Trust Across America has been working with a growing team of experts to study, define and quantify organizational trust. Nominations were accepted by a panel of judges who met and spoke to hundreds of experts, across a variety of professional disciplines, who help create trustworthy organizations. Many of this year’s honorees are well-known CEOs and leadership experts, while others are quietly working behind the scenes as teachers and researchers.

Professor Sethi is an expert in the field of international business including globalization, corporate strategy, and sustainable business practices, corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and business ethics. He is the creator of CSR-S Monitor, which is a first of its kind Index that analyzes corporate social responsibility-sustainability reports of large corporations from around the world.

In 2013, Donald H. Schepers, Associate Dean of the Zicklin School of Business and Professor of Management, was recognized for his work as Director, Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity at Baruch College. Dr. Schepers is an expert in corporate political campaign activity and disclosure, corporate governance and codes of conduct, socially responsible investing and the impact of non-governmental organizations on business policy.

Trust Across America’s mission is to help enhance trustworthy behavior in organizations. Barbara Kimmel, is the founder and an award-winning communications executive and former consultant to McKinsey who has run her own firm, Next Decade, Inc. She holds a BA in International Affairs from Lafayette College and an MBA in Marketing from Baruch. In 2012, Kimmel was named one of 25 Women Who are Changing the World by Good Business International.
