Zicklin School of Business Ranked #2 in "Top 50 Best Value Master's in Taxation Degrees"
NEW YORK, NY- April 13, 2017—The Zicklin School of Business has been named a Top Value College by Value Colleges in their newly released ranking. Zicklin ranked #2 in the Top 50 Best Value Master’s in Taxation 2017, placing ahead of Villanova University, Georgetown University, and SUNY Albany.
Value Colleges cited Zicklin as “commitment to accepting only the best and keeping tuition at an affordable and accessible level, making it one of the best values and the highest-ranked college in the nation for social mobility.” The Zicklin School of Business was praised for its ability to prepare students “who want to take on specialized careers in taxes with private accounting firms, government agencies, or other public and private organizations.”
For their rankings, Value Colleges uses College Scorecard to filter colleges at or below the national average cost, with a high graduation rate (better than 50%) and average graduate salary above the national average. From that initial list, colleges and universities were ranked by the following factors: ROI (according to Scorecard data), cost (according to IPEDS) and reputation (according to U.S. News & World Report)
