Make arrangements for research consultations or small group workshops with the graduate services coordinator, or a subject liaison.

Information Resources and Workshops

Outstanding business databases can be accessed on campus and off campus. These include LEXIS/NEXIS, CRSP, COMPUSTAT, S&P NetAdvantage, Business & Company Resource Center, Global Access and Simmons Choices II. More than 8,000 full-text serials are available in over 100 end-user databases.

Library-based instruction is formulated on clearly defined information competency criteria. In collaboration with Zicklin, the library provides training on the use of the Reuters databases in the Subotnick Financial Services Center.

Services

Newman Library provides a number of services to graduate students including
Inter-Library Loan, access and borrowing privileges at all CUNY libraries, referrals to private or special libraries, and a laptop loan program.

Group study rooms and individual study carrels for graduate students are available in Newman Library.
