Zicklin Graduate Application Requirements

APPLICATION CHECKLIST - WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU

Applying Online is strongly recommended.  Applications submitted electronically are immediately ready for review and processing.  In addition, online applicants are able to monitor changes and status updates.

  Résumé
Submit current one-page résumé

  Essay
Please refer to the application instructions for the essay topics. 

  Additional Essay Requirement for the Full-Time Honors MBA Program: Applicants are required to submit an additional two page maximum, double spaced essay.  Please refer to the application instructions for the essay topics. 

  Official transcript(s)
Submit official transcript(s) from ALL post-secondary institutions attended.  Transcript(s) must arrive in sealed envelope(s) from the issuing institution(s), indicating degree and date of completion. Please note that your undergraduate transcript must indicate the degree you received and the date of the degree.  Your degree must be dated no later than the application deadline.

NOTE: Documents (transcripts, recommendations, etc.) from institutions outside the US in a language other than English must be accompanied by official English translations. 

  Official GMAT scores
Please go to MBA.com for information and to register for the test.   The GMAT must be taken NO LATER than the application deadline for the term to which you are applying.

  Two Letters of Recommendation
Submit one recommendation from your current employer, the other from a previous employer/manager or a recent professor who knows you well.

Special Evaluation of International Educational Credentials
In special circumstances Graduate Admissions will ask applicants to have their educational credentials evaluated by an independent evaluating agency such as:

Photocopy of university diploma
Submit a photocopy of your university diploma showing the graduation date and the degree conferred.

Official TOEFL iBT or PTE scores
Applicants educated outside the United States, whose first language is not English are required to submit scores from either the TOEFL iBT or the Pearson Test of English (PTE).  For further information or to request your score report to be sent please visit:

Application for the Certificate of Eligibility (Form I-20)
International applicants seeking a student visa to study in the US will need to complete the Request for Certificate of Eligibility and the Declaration and Certification of Finances.  Be sure to review, complete, and submit pages D1 – D5 of the application. 

Supporting Financial Documentation
Submit original documents for each source of financial support you will be declaring. Please refer to the "Sponsor Supporting Documents" page D4 of the admission application for a list of acceptable supporting documents.

Photcopy of Passport Identification Page
Submit photocopy of the identification page of your passport. You may fax a legible copy to 646.312.1301.  When faxing, please be sure to write your full name on each page.
