Donna M. Gitter
Donna M. Gitter is Associate Professor of Law at Baruch College, CUNY. For several years she practiced commercial litigation as a Manhattan attorney, where she gained expertise in contract, employment, real estate, bankruptcy, and intellectual property matters. She then entered academia, focusing her research on domestic and international business law, with a particular emphasis on patent and biotechnology law.
Professor Gitter has published numerous articles in scholarly journals such as the New York University Law Review, the Washington and Lee Law Review, and the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review. She has presented her research at scholarly and professional conferences both in the United States and abroad, and has also won several research awards and grants for her work.
Professor Gitter graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from Cornell University's College of Arts and Sciences, where she earned a B.A. in Government. She earned her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
