Harry Dannenberg
In a 40-plus year career in the footwear industry, specializing in women’s footwear - retail, wholesale and manufacturing - Mr. Dannenberg has developed an expertise in all aspects of fashion manufacturing, marketing and merchandising. Most recently he was Director of Bisou-Bisou Footwear, responsible for the company’s product development, marketing and sales of $20 million annually, with heavy involvement in its manufacturing operations in China.
Working with such noted fashion designers as Beverly Feldman, Mr. Dannenberg also created the first Oscar De La Renta footwear line, which was manufactured in Spain.
In all, Mr. Dannenberg manufactured shoes on four continents in ten countries, in addition to owning and operating six leased retail shoe departments.
As Vice Chairman at SCORE NYC, Mr. Dannenberg is involved in all aspects of the chapter’s activities with emphasis on new counselor recruitment activities, the development of its seminar program and monitoring and improving the quality of client counseling. In addition, Mr. Dannenberg serves as an active member of the Parents Council of Skidmore College.
