Presentation Workshop
You have your business plan. You've made it to the final round in the competition. Now you're in the home stretch. The judges have called you in but you have just two minutes to speak.
What do you tell the judges about your plan? How do you make a two minute presentation so that the judges will:
- Pay attention to you and listen to what you have to say?
- Remember you and your team?
- Judge your plan in the best possible light?
This interactive workshop will show you how to edit your material for a two minute executive summary. Through lecture, group participation, videotaping and critiques you will learn practical skills for the competition presentation and moreover, skills that you can apply whenever you speak in the business world.
Topic Areas
- Planning and organizing a brief, focused message
- Dealing with nervousness
- Talking in pictures that the listeners remember
- Using a personal point of view to present material
- Reviewing communication styles
