On-campus Recruiting (OCR)
On-Campus Recruiting (OCR) at the GCMC is a convenient and cost-effective method for your company to recruit Baruch’s MBA and MS level candidates for internship and full-time hire opportunities. The GCMC offers OCR to employers during both the fall and spring semesters.
Through OCR, the GCMC will assist your company in using our online career portal Zicklin CareerLink to post your OCR positions, schedule resume submissions and selections, and coordinate interviews.
The GCMC will also help you hold interviews over one or more days, utilizing the GCMC’s interview rooms for your recruiting team. You also have the option of scheduling interviews at your location.

Fall Semester OCR
In the fall semester, formal OCR recruiting activities are typically scheduled from early October through late November. Interview dates are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Spring Semester OCR
In the spring semester, formal OCR recruiting activities are typically scheduled from early February through early April. However beginning in January, employers may reserve interview dates for both internship and full-time positions.
OCR Offer Deadline Policy
For OCR positions, the GCMC is committed to working in the best interest of both our students and employers. We encourage employers to be understanding and willing to give students ample time to carefully consider all of their employment options and to make informed decisions during the recruiting season. In an effort to establish a fair, competitive and ethical recruiting environment for both students and employers, Baruch College’s Graduate Career Management Center requires employers to follow the following OCR offer and date guidelines:
Summer Conversion: If you extend a full-time job offer to a student prior to the start of fall recruiting (offers to summer interns returning for an additional year) we request that you give that student until October 30 to give you their decision.
Full-time: If you extend a full-time job offer to a student during fall recruiting, we request that you give students until November 21 to give you their decision.
Early Summer Internship Offers: If you extend a summer internship offer to a student prior to the start of spring recruiting (last week of January), we request that you give students until March 1 to give you their decision.
Full-time & Standard Summer Internship Offers: If you extend a full-time or summer internship offer to a student during the standard spring recruiting period, we request that you give students until April 1 to give you their decision.
In some cases, students may ask for extensions beyond these recommended deadlines, and we hope you will be able to accommodate their requests.
