One-on-One Career Advising
At your first appointment, you will be asked to fill out a pre-advisement assessment. Together you and
your Advisor will develop an action plan which will support your job or internship search.
Staff will discuss your educational and professional history, future career goals, current concerns, and make recommendations for next steps. It will be up to you and your Advisor to determine what makes the most sense based on your goals.
You are encouraged to meet regularly with your Career Advisor for assistance in redefining your goals, writing effective resumes and other correspondence, interviewing successfully, relationship building, and negotiating offers and compensation. Advisement appointments are 30 minutes in length and can be scheduled by calling or stopping by the front desk.
Evening appointments are available Tuesdays.
