This two day conference will address the issues surrounding corporate governance and corporate political activity. The program on the February 28th will explore company participation in the political process and place it in the broader context of the societal role and responsibilities of corporations.

Money, Politics, and Corporate Risk - Day 1 Agenda*

I. The Public Opinion Context: Corporate Reputation & Political Activity
- 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
A survey on directors and company political spending co-sponsored by the Center for Political Accountability and the Wharton School’s Zicklin Center will be released at the conference. The results will be presented by Larry Harris of Mason-Dixon Polling & Research. In addition, the panel will examine how the public and shareholders view company political activity and the impact of that activity and earlier and contemporary corporate misconduct or questionable behavior on company reputations.
