Direct Marketing Center Sizzles Among High-Stakes Competition
The Zicklin School of Business Direct Marketing Resource Center opened in early December as a classroom facility and direct marketing laboratory for students studying interactive approaches to promoting products and companies. The investment in this particular area is well deserved. With an extraordinary record in the Direct Marketing Association’s national Collegiate Echo competition over the last five years (no school has more awards in that time), Baruch has strong national standing as a center for direct and interactive marketing studies.

In 2004 the Newman Library partnered with the Zicklin School of Business to open a Direct and Interactive Marketing Resource Center in the Library. The Center provides students with facilities and information resources that one might only find at major direct marketing advertising agencies.
Direct Marketing Center Opens in Newman Library
In the last two years, Baruch College students have won more awards from the Direct Marketing Association than students in any other graduate program in the United States. Since 2002, 38 students in the Zicklin School of Business won gold, silver and bronze trophies plus finalist and honorable mention awards-- 14 in this year alone.
