FREE COUNSELING AND SERVICES
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Baruch College offers owners of existing businesses and aspiring business owners an array of services to help get them get started and grow.
The SBDC at Baruch is unique among NYS business counseling organizations in the variety & quality of the resources it provides to its clientele.
WE SPECIALIZE IN THE RELATIONSHIPS WE BUILD WITH OUR CLIENTS!!
One-On-One Counseling, which is both personalized and confidential, is offered on a short term or long term basis, throughout the process, by the same professional advisor. Advisors may either be professionals from the Small Business Development Center or Field Mentors who are Zicklin School of Business faculty supplemented by technical assistance provided by Field Fellows (MBA interns). Consulting is offered in business plan development, marketing, financing, e-commerce, home-based business, management issues, franchising, and contract procurement.
Seminars and Training Programs are available on subjects such as marketing, management, franchising, time-management, strategic planning, resource marshalling, and finance.
Loan Assistance is available to help business owners develop business plans and financing proposals. The Center staff can help in obtaining SBA guarantees and in introducing business owners to banks.
