Description: Linda Sanford, who recently retired from IBM after a remarkable career spanning nearly four decades, will sit down for an engaging one-on-one conversation with  Dr. Terrence Martell, Saxe Distinguished Professor of Finance & Weissman Center Director. She will share reflections on her career, key trends in  technology and innovation in the global economy, and share advice on building a  productive, rewarding career.  She will also respond to questions from the audience.

Description: The program provides financial assistance to undergraduate students who complete an unpaid spring internship in a start-up company, while encouraging them to develop their professional and intercultural skills through programs offered by the Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College.

Event:PR News CSR Awards Ceremony

Description: The CSR-Sustainability Monitor, created by the Weissman Center for International Business (WCIB), has been named a finalist for a CSR and Nonprofit PR News Award. A team of researchers at the WCIB, under the direction of Saxe Distinguished Professor of Finance Terrence F. Martell and University Distinguished Professor S. Prakash Sethi, developed the CSR-Sustainability Monitor, which is an analytic framework for the systematic and objective evaluation of the transparency of CSR reports. The winners of the awards will be saluted at an Awards Luncheon on March 12, 2015 at The National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

Event:World Trade Week New York 2015 Kick-Off and Awards Breakfast
