The Baruch-SWUFE Accounting and Management Joint Research Consortium
The Baruch-SWUFE Accounting and Management Joint Research Consortium was launched in the fall of 2009 to facilitate accounting research and learning through various activities between the Zicklin School of Business and the School of Accounting at Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. SWUFE is one of the premier universities of finance and economics in China. It is located in Chengdu, a leading financial and business hub for western China. The Consortium supports accounting and business research on issues related to China. The Consortium sponsors faculty exchanges between the two universities as well as exchanges of Ph.D. students. The consortium also sponsors an annual research conference alternating locations between Chengdu and New York. Research sponsored by the Consortium is presented. In addition to research support, the Consortium also sponsors the development of undergraduate student exchanges between the two universities.
