International Business Directory
We are pleased to announce that the International Business in New York City: 2008 Directory is now available on the NYC.gov website www.nyc.gov/ibd
This is the first web-based edition, allowing you to search for a particular company located within the five boroughs by name, by country, or by industry.
The listings of 2,800 foreign owned businesses include contact information, number of employees and the number of locations that each business has in the Big Apple.
The Directory contains listings for the Foreign Consulates General, Trade Commissions, Government Investment Offices, Permanent Missions to the United Nations, and Bi-national Chambers of Commerce.
This version of the Directory allows foreign companies to update their information on-line, and new foreign companies are able to request their listing by going to www.nyc.gov/ibdform
The Directory shows the vibrancy and diversity of the international business community in New York City. It is a tool for further understanding the impact of foreign direct investment in New York City.
The Directory is a joint project of the Weissman for International Business at Baruch College (CUNY) and the Division for International Business, NYC Commission for the United Nations, Consular Corps and Protocol, part of the Office of the Mayor.
For more information, call the Weissman Center for International Business, 9:00am – 5:00pm at (646) 312-2070.
