Direct Enrollment
Baruch students have the option of applying directly to study as a visiting student at foreign universities with which Baruch does not have an exchange agreement. For students who are very independent and self-sufficient, and for whom cost is an overriding factor, direct enrollment offers an alternative to Study Abroad Programs that facilitate enrollment to the same university. If you choose to apply directly to a foreign university, you will be dealing with the local university officials, and will not have the benefit of any extra student support services offered by sponsors of Study Abroad Programs. In addition, if you are on financial aid, you will be subject to special conditions regarding certification of attendance. All applications to apply directly to a foreign university for study abroad require the approval of the Baruch College Study Abroad Director.
