Incoming Exchange Students
Every year Baruch College welcomes visiting exchange students from its partner universities around the world. Visiting exchange students are those who are pursuing a degree at their home institution, and who wish to spend one or two semesters studying at Baruch College.
If you are a foreign national and wish to apply as a degree candidate to Baruch College, you should apply through the Baruch College Admissions Office.
Because of U.S. immigration restrictions, only those students who are currently attending universities that have exchange agreements with Baruch College are eligible to enroll at Baruch College as visiting exchange students for a semester or year of study. Students who wish to enroll in Winter Intersession or Summer Session courses at Baruch normally do not require a special visa. Please consult with the local US Consular Services section in your home country to learn of all relevant visa requirements.
If you are a student at partner university and wish to study at Baruch as a visiting exchange student, you must apply through and be nominated by your home institution. You should contact the appropriate office at your university about the terms of the exchange and the application procedure for the Baruch exchange. You will receive all application materials from your home university. Do NOT use the on-line application form for Baruch College if you intend to apply as a visiting exchange student. This application is meant only for students applying as degree candidates.
