Faculty Overview
The faculty of the Zicklin School of Business is large, distinguished, and
diverse. They include noted scholars, authors, sought-after consultants, and
master teachers. They hold advanced degrees from such prestigious institutions
as Harvard, MIT, Columbia, Stanford, Northwestern, Chicago, New York University,
Cornell, Berkeley, Yale, Dartmouth, Michigan, UCLA, Indiana, Texas, Oxford,
Princeton, Cal Tech, Duke, Georgetown, and other world-class universities.
Through their important work, the Zicklin School provides ideas and solutions for a rapidly changing global business environment. Among the many who are internationally recognized authorities in their fields are:
- S. Prakash Sethi, University Distinguished Professor of Management, who
serves as a consultant for Mattel Inc. and helped the company establish a
worldwide code of conduct and monitoring plan;
- Robert A. Schwartz, University Distinguished Professor of Economics and
Finance, an expert in securities markets, microstructure, and the electronic
call auction;
- Yoshihiro Tsurumi, a scholar in the fields of industrial policy, international
transfer of technology, and global business, and a leading consultant to many
government and multinational firms and the International Monetary Fund; and
- June O'Neill, the Wollman Professor of Economics and director of the Center for the Study of Business and Government at Baruch, who served as the director of the U.S. Congressional Budget Office from 1995 to 1999.
