SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT As of Fall 2009, ACC 4300 is replaced with TAX 3300. TAX 3300 can be taken along with the 3000 or 4000 level accounting courses. The two course limitation on accounting courses does not include TAX 3300. Students may take two accounting 3000 level courses and TAX 3300 and they may take two accounting 4000 level courses and TAX 3300. Students MAY NOT combine 3000 and 4000 level accounting courses in the same semester. The 2.5 minimum GPA in the 3000 level accounting courses (ACC 3202, 3000, 3100 and 3200) is still in effect to be an official accounting major. Exceptions are never made to these policies. Currently enrolled students will find that all the courses necessary to complete either of these tracks are still being offered, with the exception of ACC 5400 (Auditing) which becomes an "honors" course only available to students with minimum overall GPA of 3.5. (Students unable to qualify can substitute one of the Internal Audit courses.) (1) BBA Public Accounting/CPA Track
