From the Chair
I would like to welcome you to the largest and most diverse Department Of Management in the country. As you will see on this web page, we feature four divisions: Human Resources, Operations, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship. And we offer instruction at three levels: bachelors, masters, and doctoral. Our forty-member full-time faculty and thirty-member part-time faculty are drawn from some of the finest universities offering management education, and also bring years of business experience to our classrooms. In addition to offering majors in Human Resources, Operations, and Entrepreneurship within the Zicklin BBA and MBA, the Department of Management is responsible for the Executive MS in Industrial and Labor Relations, an executive program leading to a Certificate in Professional Coaching, the Lawrence N. Field Center For Entrepreneurship, and the Zicklin Leadership Initiative. Department faculty lead these efforts, provide instruction in them, and offer professional guidance to students and clients.
The Zicklin School is on the move in a concerted effort to be counted among the top twenty-five business schools in the country. (We are now among the top twenty-five in selected categories.) And the Department of Management plays a leadership role in that effort with the cutting edge programs just mentioned. I invite you to review our faculty and our offerings. If we can further your career plans, I ask you to join us.
Sincerely,
Harry M. Rosen, Ph.D.
