Why a Program for Re-entry Professionals
Many highly qualified professionals voluntarily leave their careers for a period of time, often due to childcare or other family demands. At some point, a majority of these former professionals want to return to the workforce. Although some want to return to the same profession or the same employer, many would like to pursue other options, perhaps start their own business or switch to non-profit work. Others aren’t sure what they want to do.
Employers are beginning to recognize the value of bringing these highly qualified professionals back into the workforce, and some have begun to expand their recruiting efforts to include this formerly overlooked source of job applicants. Our program is designed to help women and men who are ready to re-launch their careers to
