FULL-TIME LECTURER in Advertising (NON-TENURE TRACK)
The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking applicants for a full-time lecturer position in the Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business. The position begins in the Spring semester of 2015.
The review of applicants will begin thirty days after this posting. The position will remain open until filled.
The position will involve teaching Advertising courses (graduate and undergraduate). Candidates must have at least a master's degree in a related field and should be able to demonstrate teaching effectiveness. We are seeking a person with passion for teaching students and engaging them in solving real-world problems. Teaching experience at the University level is preferred. Previous industry experience in advertising is required, along with a strong working knowledge of the overall advertising process, integrated marketing communication (IMC), strategic planning, media planning, and account management. Industry experience in the digital advertising and/or media domain will be viewed favorably. The successful candidate is expected to develop and teach courses (face-to-face format) in at least several of those areas.
