The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking applicants for a full-time lecturer position in the Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business. The position begins in the Fall semester of 2014.

It offers nationally ranked undergraduate, part-time, and full-time MBA programs, plus an accelerated MBA, specialized masters, and doctoral programs. The Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business offers an undergraduate major in Marketing (with tracks in Digital Marketing, Advertising and Communications, International Marketing, and Marketing Management), an undergraduate major in International Business, MBA majors in Marketing and in International Business, a Master of Science in Marketing (including concentrations Digital Marketing, and Marketing Research and Analytics), and a PhD in Marketing. The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking applicants for a full-time lecturer position in the Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business. The position will involve teaching Advertising courses (graduate and undergraduate). The position begins in the Spring semester of 2015.


Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in a related field and should be able to demonstrate teaching effectiveness; a master's degree is strongly preferred. We are seeking a person with passion for teaching students and engaging them in solving real-world problems. Teaching experience at the University level is preferred. Previous industry experience in advertising is required, along with a strong working knowledge of the overall advertising process, integrated marketing communication (IMC), strategic planning, media planning, and account management. Industry experience in the digital advertising and/or media domain will be viewed favorably. The successful candidate is expected to develop and teach courses (face-to-face format) in at least several of those areas.
