* Students who demonstrated proficiency in a second language via a test could take other Zicklin designated Tier III minors in related areas such as law, history, public affairs, science or economics.

* * Lower Senior (94 or more credits) is the preferred time to do the semester in a foreign country. It is also possible for the study abroad experience to be completed during the summer session. This summer option would permit students’ greater flexibility in scheduling courses during the traditional academic calendar and possibly aid in their job search during senior year.

*** The Tier III minor requires the student to take three additional courses in a foreign language unless the student can demonstrate proficiency at similar level.
