How do I request permission for a marketing course?

All permission request for marketing course (excluding MKT 3000) must be send to MktIB@baruch.cuny.edu. Please include the followings in your e-mail

First & Last Name
Last 5 Digits of your SSN
Course Information (Code, Section, Title)
Your status (Junior, Senior)
Reason for request

What is the procedure to select Marketing as my major/minor?

You are most likely able to select a major/minor without having to visit the corresponding department. Simply click here for the change of major/minor form. You must log in with your own User ID to make any changes.

I am not in the Zicklin School of Business yet, how can I take a undergraduate Marketing Course?

If you are not part of the Zicklin School of Business, please go to Dean's Office (VC 13-270) for permission. The Department of Marketing & International Business cannot grant you any permission until you are enrolled in Zicklin School of Business.

How can I find more information about undergraduate internship program?

Please visit the Internship section for more information.

How can I find an internship to satisfy my course requirement?

Department of Marketing & International Business do not have the resource to locate an internship for you. To find an internship you can visit CDC (Career Development Center) or use any outside source.

Please keep in mind that any internship must be approved by your instructor to qualify for course credit.

I am currently a senior, can I take MKT 5100 to fulfil my curriculum requirement?

Students admitted to Zicklin after Fall 2006 cannot use MKT 5100 to fulfil any specific Marketing Department requirements. Other students may use MKT 5100 to satisfy Marketing track requirements as specified in the 2004-2006 Undergraduate Bulletin.

You can sign up for Subject pool only via online. Click here to sign up for "Subject Pool Research" assignment.

Note: You must be 18 years or older to participate in a research study. If you are under 18, you cannot participate in the study, but you can get the same course credit by completing a written assignment.
