BBA in Quantitative Methods and Modeling

The Quantitative Methods and Modeling (QMM) major is an interdisciplinary program offered by the Department of Statistics and Computer Information Systems. This major is designed to develop quantitative thinking skills that are invaluable in business. The program focuses extensively on mathematical modeling and computer implementation issues applied to business. The student will take courses from a variety of quantitative disciplines, and the flexible elective requirements permit the creation of a course sequence tailored to his/her professional or educational objectives. The use of the computer for the solution and analysis of business problems is an integral part of the program. As a graduate of this program the student will have a broad foundation in quantitative methods and modeling, and will be well positioned for the development, analysis, and solution of decision problems facing business and industry in the 21st century. A 9 credit minor in Quantitative Methods and Modeling is also offered by the department.
