Research committees, the Library committee, The Faculty Senate, the Dept's Recruiting committee, Curriculum committee.Have refereed papers for professional meetings, (TIMS, DSI, ACM) and for professional journals, (Decision Sciences, Personnel Administrator) and reviewed numerous textbooks, (Dannenbring & Starr, Nichols)
Have served as Thesis advisor to six doctoral candidates, all of whom received their degrees, and one of whom won the Doctoral Thesis of the Year award from POMS, (S.Rao, 1990)
Have served on innumerable PhD candidacy exams and panels, as well on dissertation committees.

Organizing Committee for the New York Joint national Meeting of ORSA/TIMS, October 16-18, 1989Taught in England for one year, 1993 at the University of Brighton
