William Newman Department of Real Estate

Situated in a historical landmark and sponsored by a pioneer in the real estate field, the William Newman Department of Real Estate at the Zicklin School of Business seeks to become a center of excellence in producing and disseminating cutting edge real estate knowledge. As the anchor of the William Newman Programs in Real Estate, the Department currently offers a BBA degree in Real Estate, a BBA minor in Real Estate, an MBA Degree in Real Estate, an MS in Real Estate, a Ph. D. program in Real Estate, and electives for other programs. It is the Department’s goal to offer an executive version of the Master in Science Degree in Real Estate for leaders of real estate-related industries internationally and executive training programs in the near future. We aim to establish a department renowned for its breadth and depth. All aspects of real estate will be covered and the curriculum will include substantial opportunities for internships. The Visiting Scholars, Mentor Programs, job fairs, career panels, and Real Estate Clubs offer unparalleled opportunities for students to be in close contact and to network with industry leaders.
