What is the difference between the BBA Major in Real Estate and the BBA Minor in Real Estate?
The BBA Major covers 24 credits in real estate while the minor is 9 credits in real estate. The BBA major is also a full degree in real estate with 124 credits.
What is the difference between the BS in Real Estate and Metropolitan Development and the BBA Major in Real Estate?
Students in the BBA in Real Estate are required to take Zicklin’s core business courses before taking the required real estate and real estate related courses. Students will be exposed to more business and real estate courses and can expect to find job opportunities in investment banking, consulting, and real estate investment firms.
How to transfer from one major to the BBA in Real Estate?
To transfer from a current Baruch major to the BBA in Real Estate major, the students are encouraged to study the BBA in Real Estate requirements sheet in details. Specifically, if a student is outside of the Zicklin School of Business, the student will have to fulfill the required Zicklin pre-business courses. Please see the Eligibility Section.
What are the requirements for the BBA in Real Estate?
The BBA in Real Estate requires a minimum of 62 liberal arts credits, 54 credits in business area courses and 3-15 credits in free electives. Please see the BBA in Real Estate requirements sheet for the detailed requirements.

How to transfer from one Zicklin major to the BBA in Real Estate?
To transfer from a current Zicklin major to the BBA in Real Estate major, students should fill out a Zicklin School of Business Undergraduate change of major form.

Which courses should a student take first after being admitted to the Zicklin School of Business?
A student should take FIN 3000 and RES 3000 in the first semester of their admittance to Zicklin (FIN 3000 is a prerequisite for several other required RES courses). In the second semester, it is suggested that a student in either the investment track or development track take RES 3200 and RES 3300. Students in the investment track can also take RES 3400; while students in the developement track can take RES 3700, RES 3800 and RES 3900.
