MBA in Statistics
The Master of Business Administration ( MBA ) in StatisticsThe statistics majors are designed to train students in the application of mathematical models and decision making in business, industry, and government. An MBA program and an MS program are offered. Both provide students with the concepts and skills that form the fundamental base of knowledge essential to statistics professionals in today's business environment. The MBA program is designed primarily for those who employ statistical methods in an applied discipline such as economics or marketing, or who are responsible for managing or interfacing with a statistical department. The MS Program is designed to train technical specialists in the field. The major in statistics is given within the Department of Statistics and Computer Information Systems.
