Midtown-West: Manhattan's Future

Midtown-West: Manhattan’s Future on February 28, 2003 was the first of three events that explored the redevelopment of Midtown-West and began with a presentation of the New York City Department of Planning’s strategy for the Hudson Yards by Daniel Doctoroff, the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding. C. Virginia Fields, Manhattan Borough President, then gave her office’s plan, which was followed by community proposals from representatives of Community Board 4, the Friends of the High Line, and the Hell’s Kitchen Neighborhood Association.
