The Hudson Yards Plan

Comment/Assessment/Options: The Hudson Yards Plan for the City of New York as proposed in the Draft Generic Environmental Impact Statement by the New York City Department of City Planning and the Metropolitan Transportation Authority took place on November 23, 2004. Its goals were to promote an understanding of the principal findings of the EIS and the issues they raise; to identify information that will help with public consensus on how to proceed on the Far West Side; and to move the debate to a broader exploration of what would be the best way to meet the city’s goals with a maximum of potential benefits.
