On February 8, 2002 the Newman Institute/CUNY Consortium presented an extraordinary full-day conference entitled: Between Expedience and Deliberation: Decision-Making for Post-9/11 New York. Many outstanding faculty leaders as well as other respected commentators addressed specific issues related to New York's response to the World Trade Center tragedy.
