Students from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business won first place at the inaugural Deloitte Audit Innovation Campus Challenge. Teams from participating schools were asked to develop an innovative response to a data-based audit statement and then present their ideas to a panel of Deloitte judges at the firm’s Audit Innovation space in New Jersey on April 6, 2016.

Baruch College has been named as one of the institutions that does best at graduating low-income students. According to a new report released on March 24, 2016 by the U.S. Department of Education, 45% of Baruch College students are recipients of Pell Grants with a graduation rate of 69% of these students within six years.

Professor Donna Gitter has earned a Fulbright Distinguished Lecturing Award for travel to the Philippines. Gitter is a professor of law at the Zicklin School of Business and will give lectures to audiences at major universities, professional organizations, and nongovernmental and government agencies in Metro Manila, Luzon, and Visayas during the 2016-2017 academic year.
