Office of MS Programs
The Office of MS Programs assists you in understanding your degree requirements and the academic policies related to your MS program and academic standing. Professional staff members provide comprehensive guidance and support to enable you to make informed decisions about your program and achieve your academic goals. The office works closely with academic departments and administrative offices throughout the college to help you successfully navigate the degree process.
Most advising is informal and you are able to meet with MS Office staff members throughout the calendar year on a walk-in basis or by appointment. The office will also stay in touch with you through email (Baruchmail) on a regular basis. In addition to our resources, designated faculty members are available in each department to meet with you on an individual basis to discuss your academic and professional interests. You are responsible for understanding and meeting the requirements for your degree, and we encourage you to take advantage of all available resources.
The Office of MS Programs assistance related to:
- General academic advising (individual and small group advising)
- Program Planning
- Academic standing matters
- Transfer credit
- Preliminary course evaluations
- Change of degree objective
- Graduate Committee on Academic Standing
