Advisors

Faculty advisors are available throughout the academic year to answer questions regarding career choices, selection of major courses, membership in professional associations, and other matters important to your professional development. If you are undecided about your major we encourage you to speak with faculty advisors in the areas under consideration, before making a decision. If your graduate and undergraduate majors are in the same area, faculty advisors can help you select courses that will enhance your prior background. Staff advisors are also available on a regular basis in the Office of Graduate Academic Services to answer questions about degree requirements. Please note that faculty office locations are in parenthesis following the e-mail address.

*Note: Students in the MBA and MS in accountancy programs sign an Official Program of Study (OPS), which lists the courses required for their program. These are sent to new MS students before their first registration to be signed and sent back. New MBA students will receive their OPS during the first semester. Students with questions about their requirements contact Mr. Wynne, who does the program advising but is not a member of the accounting faculty. MBA and MS taxation programs do not require an OPS.
