Dear Flex-Time MBA & MS Students,

Congratulations! It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the Flex-Time MBA/MS programs at the Zicklin School of Business. We speak for the faculty and staff when we say we are delighted to accept another academically excellent and highly motivated entering class.

These are challenging times in business and in the world in general. We will prepare you for your professional and personal pursuits in this environment. Zicklin is the oldest and largest of Baruch College’s three schools and is the largest school of its kind in the nation. All of our MBA Programs continue to expand and improve. Our competitive and innovative curriculum is designed to produce graduates who will sustain their zest for knowledge and who will contribute to the world of business in a socially responsible way.

You are now part of the Zicklin community and will enjoy the benefits of our highly qualified faculty and superb academic facilities and services. Our academic complex houses an award-winning library, and the cutting-edge Wasserman Trading floor. New York City itself provides unparalleled avenues for academic, professional, and social pursuits. Network with other students, personal contacts, professors and business leaders you meet at Zicklin. We suggest you participate in graduate clubs, student government and the numerous special events on campus. Visit your Blackboard site to learn about new courses, registration updates and many exciting programs open to you throughout the year.

One of the most important skills to acquire and enhance in the next few years involves your ability to work well with others in a team or as a team leader. To do this requires not only that you speak thoughtfully and effectively - but also that you listen well. We will work to provide a curriculum that stretches and challenges you. We hope you will accept that challenge and realize the full benefit of these few years by becoming an active learner.

Welcome!
