Graduate Student Services
The Office of Graduate Student Services is a relatively new office whose mission is to work collaboratively with the study body to improve the quality of life for Zicklin graduate students. The office works closely with various offices throughout the school to liaise on behalf of Zicklin graduate students who may need assistance navigating their way through the system.
Academic Advising & Academic Counseling
- Provide academic advisement and academic counseling for students in the Full-Time Honors MBA program and the Accelerated Part-Time MBA program.
- Register all students in the Full-Time Honors MBA program and Accelerated Part-Time MBA program in advance of regular registration
- Arrange for tutoring services in key core courses
- Conduct time-management sessions related to academic studying for international students
International Students
- Conduct a series of focus groups to learn directly from students about their concerns and needs
- Participate in development of Online Tutorial for International Students
- Create materials used with admissions providing students with important information related to relocating
- Manage Housing Forum: a Blackboard discussion board used for posting housing information
- Develop and expand International students orientation
Liasion on Behalf of Students
- Assist all Zicklin graduate students in obtaining information on satisfying their immunization and residency requirements.
- Meet with students regarding financial aid concerns
- Work with Financial Aid in creating a time-line resource for students in applying for loans and aid
Graduate Assistantship Program
- Process all applications and graduate assistantship assignments
Scholarships
- Coordinate and process all scholarships for Zicklin graduate students
