Message from the Academic Director

I would like to thank you for your interest in the Executive MS in Financial Statement Analysis and Securities Valuation Program. Our mission is to understand and anticipate the needs of the corporate community. Our vision is to create a “cornerstone” program by tapping into the relative strengths of the accountancy and finance departments while meeting the needs of the current financial world. The emphasis of the program is on relevance, academic quality and intellectual rigor.
Executives in the FSA program can enhance their human capital by passing the CFA® exam, a certification offered by the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®). The CFA® Institute is a world wide organization that monitors the quality and integrity of financial analysts. Because a considerable portion of our program overlaps with the CFA academic requirements, our program is recognized by the CFA® Institute. We are one of a handful of premier universities in the U.S. that are currently partnering with them.
Financial statement analysis and security valuation is a major industry with employment opportunities in the tri-state area as well as nationally. Our one-year accelerated program allows busy professionals to integrate the demands of their careers with graduate work and to prepare for Levels I and II of the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) exams.
If you have further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me to learn more about the program.
