Executive Master of Science in Computer Information Systems
Offered in: Taiwan
The Executive MS in MIS, offered by the Zicklin School of Business, provides students with a strong foundation in business and managerial activities as they relate to information technologies. Special attention is given to the use of information technologies for strategic management and operational decisions. The program is designed to produce highly effective managers.
The balanced curriculum blends technologies, such as object-oriented programming, database, networks and telecommunications, with management topics, such as integration, innovation, security, project management, strategic management and globalization.
The Executive MS in MIS program is designed for those:
- With limited exposure to computer technologies who will benefit from the program’s immersion into object-oriented programming and database management systems, in addition to broad courses focusing on emerging trends and project management.
- Who have worked as technical staffs/managers in organizations and have not completed formal training in current technologies and management programs.
The one year program is designed for cohort groups of working professionals. One course is taught each month on-site by a Baruch Faculty member. Students will work closely with their peers and faculty. Taking the required courses together as a cohort further strengthens the learning experience.
