Bachelor's/Master's CPA Programs in Accounting
For Baruch Students Seeking to Meet the NY State 150 Credit CPA Requirements
Any Baruch undergraduate student planning a career as a Certified Public Accountant should consider one of these Bachelors/Masters programs. As of August 1, 2009 CPA license required at least 150 credits of coursework.
Possible Degree Combinations
Depending on the undergraduate major, students pursue one of the following degree combinations:
- BBA, accounting major plus MS in Taxation or MS in Accountancy,
- BBA in a major other than Accounting plus MS in Accountancy,
- BA or BS, any major/MS in Accountancy.
These are not combined degree programs but they are individual degree programs scheduled sequentially to enable Baruch undergraduates to continue on to meet NY State CPA academic requirements. Students who meet the MS admission requirements graduate with their bachelor's degree then enroll in the MS.
