Eligibility Requirements
No application is required for the bachelor's degree component of these programs.
- Any undergraduate major who wants to become a CPA and meets the MS admission requirements can be eligible. Accounting majors may choose either the MS in accounting or taxation. All other majors do the MS in accounting.
- If you plan to pursue the MS in
Accounting, make certain that you take as many of the undergraduate equivalents
to the MS courses as possible (see Undergraduate Courses to Take).
For admission to the MS in
accounting or taxation, you must:
- Have at least a 3.2 overall GPA and Graduate Management Admission
Test (GMAT) scores of at least 550 overall, 45th percentile verbal and 55th percentile quantitative. See GPA and GMAT requirements for more information.

Have followed the application procedures and submitted your application and the required supporting materials by the relevant
MS Application Deadlines.
- Students who do not meet the minimum GPA and GMAT score requirements mentioned above submit their applications following the application procedures but are not guaranteed admission. Their applications are reviewed and their admission decisions are made by Zicklin's Graduate Admission Committee.
