Zicklin Undergraduate Services
A variety of services are provided to Zicklin undergraduate students through the Zicklin Dean’s Office located in Room 13-260 of the Newman Vertical Campus (e-mail address: Zicklin_Undergrad@baruch.cuny.edu) . Services include collecting and processing appeals for the Undergraduate Committee on Academic Standing for the Zicklin School; preparing waiting lists for upper division business courses; recruiting for and representing the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society on campus; and assisting graduating students and other Zicklin students to complete their education in a timely manner.
In order to serve students well, the Zicklin School works closely with other offices on campus to make certain that students are advised properly and aware of the services available to them. For students who may need academic assistance it is strongly recommended that you contact the Student Academic Consulting Center to arrange for tutoring services. In making decisions about majors, courses and careers, students should seek out advice from departmental advisors, members of the Center for Advisement and Orientation, and counselors in the Career Development Center .
Important Notice
On May 28, 2002, the Zicklin School of Business faculty passed a proposal that stated: Students will be allowed to register three times for any single course. Permission or approval will be required for the fourth registration. This proposal will be enforced beginning in Summer Session I 2003.
Waiting List
The waiting list is a service offered to students who are closed out of advanced level business courses during registration. If all sections of an advanced business course are closed, students will be given an opportunity to put their name on Baruch College On Line Wait List System.
