The Graduate Career Management Center sends weekly email announcements of upcoming events, job postings, and other career management information to all students registered in eRecruiting.
The Graduate Career Management Center website is used to announce information, provide tools to assist in the career management process, and answer common questions. Students should become familiar with the site and check it regularly for new information.
CareerLeaderTM, an online business career self-assessment program used by over 230 MBA programs and corporations around the world, is available to students who complete the first segment of the Career Management Workshop Curriculum. CareerLeader provides you with expert assessments of your unique pattern of business-relevant interests, values and abilities; recommends specific business career paths for you to investigate; provides in-depth views into 27 business careers; and recommends which corporate cultures are likely to be best for you.
The Graduate Career Management Center partners with www.vault.com in providing students with the Vault Online Career Library. The online library provides students with 24-hour remote access to Vault books, company profiles, industry overviews, occupational profiles, and other information. This is a must-use resource in researching industries and professions, defining your career goals, and preparing for interviews. Students may access the online library through the Center website. A password, obtainable from the Center, is required.
The WetFeet Career Library allows students to conduct in-depth research on companies, careers and industries while also receiving expert career advice. Over 50 WetFeet Insider Guide titles are available for free and cover such career topics as Management Consulting, Entertainment and Sports, Human Resources, Investment Banking, Non-Profits, Biotech and more. Students may access the online library through the Center website. A password, obtainable from the Center, is required.
CareerSearch, an internet-based tool developed by CS Information Technologies Inc., is available in the Student Resource Center. CareerSearch contains a database of more than 1.7 million companies, public and private, in all major industries nationwide. It offers quick and easy access to company information, including descriptions and key contacts. Students must call to make an appointment to use this system.
MonsterTRACK, an online job posting service, is accessible by Zicklin graduate students at www.monstertrak.com. A password, obtainable from the Graduate Career Management Center, is required.
