AI for Executive Leadership

 
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION 

In this in-person intensive 2-day course, we will take a deep dive into the world of artificial intelligence and provide insights, tools and perspectives for business leaders and professionals to better position themselves to understand and capitalize on this rapidly changing space. We’ll cover what artificial intelligence (AI) is, how deep learning and generative AI has changed business opportunities, how large-language models (LLM) like GPT work, some of their challenges and emerging trends. We’ll explore the intersection of generative AI and LLMs with finance, healthcare, marketing, and entrepreneurship. Team-based exercises will encourage cross pollination of ideas and drive networking between professionals.

Jamiel SheikhJamiel Sheikh (BBA, ’95)
Zicklin School of Business alumnus Jamiel Sheikh is a founder & CEO of Scifn (“science of finance”), a company focused on AI, blockchain and finance. In addition, Jamiel is a bestselling author, professor and educator, community builder, board member, event organizer, and Forbes contributor. He is currently authoring a book on generative AI and finance for Columbia University Press and runs media assets like Blockchain101.com and Currency Insider and products like Disburse, Instamint and Modelex AI. He founded the Digital Currency Think Tank which works with central banks and governments. Jamiel also runs AI NYC and Blockchain NYC, one of the largest communities in the world hosting events like DARC, DEFICON, AI+FIN and more. He has over 25 years of experience in technology, finance, and capital markets and is an expert member of the UN Digital Currency Global Initiative and Digital Euro Association. Jamiel is an adjunct at Columbia Business School, Zicklin Business School and Zhejiang International Business School, and an Innovation Fellow at Columbia Business School’s Lang Center for Entrepreneurship. Jamiel holds an MBA from Columbia University’s Business School and BBA from Baruch College and is completing his second Masters in Artificial Intelligence from Georgia Institute of Technology.

DISCOUNT POLICY:  10% discount is available for the members of Baruch community: current students and alumni, faculty, and staff.

REFUND POLICY: Registered participants may cancel their registration and request a full refund up to 5 business days before the first day of their non-credit course. If you register less than 5 days before the beginning of the course, no refund will be given. In the event that course or program is canceled, all participants will receive a full refund.
