PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
In this in-person intensive one-day course, we will take a close looks at the world of climate finance. We will examine who is doing what and what you need to know to navigate this important and rapidly changing landscape that is impacting investors, businesses, and policy.
The program is designed to clarify terminology and educate professionals about government and inter-governmental financing trends, changing institutional investor allocations, and corporate investments (public and private). Team-based exercises will encourage cross-pollination of ideas and drive networking between professionals.

Instructors
Sonali Hazarika
Sonali Hazarika is an Associate Professor in Finance in the Bert W. Wasserman Department of Economics & Finance and the Executive Director of Zicklin Undergraduate Programs. Previously, she has served as the Academic Director of the Executive MS in Finance program. Professor Hazarika’s diverse research interests cover areas of corporate governance, earnings management, syndicated bank loans, mutual funds and more recently the integration of ESG issues in executive pay. Her research has been published in leading finance and management journals including Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis.
Professor Hazarika holds a PhD in Finance from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, an MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a BA in Economics from the University of Delhi, Hansraj College.
Ingrid Dyott
Ingrid Dyott was most recently a Managing Director and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Neuberger Berman Core Equity and Sustainable Equity strategies, retiring in December 2022. Ingrid was instrumental in growing the U.S. Sustainable Equity business, advocating for a focus on material ESG issues across Neuberger Berman’s investment platform, and shaping the firm’s approach to proxy voting and engagement with issuers. Before joining Neuberger Berman in 1997, she worked at the Council on Economic Priorities, a research firm specializing in corporate social and environmental analysis. Ingrid serves as Chair of the Board of the Arbor Rising, a non-profit funding and supporting social entrepreneurs, and teaches at Baruch College and Columbia University.
Ingrid Dyott holds an MBA from Columbia University and a B.A. from Bowdoin College.
