Take Your HR Career to the Next Level
Modern organizations realize that people are the key to sustainable business success and HR has evolved from a support function to a revenue driver. Today’s HR practitioners need to understand how business strategy ties into people strategy. The Zicklin Executive Master of Science in Human Resource Management (EMS HRM) is designed for HR professionals with a minimum of 3 years of business experience who are seeking to accelerate their careers.
The focus of the EMS HRM 30-credit curriculum is on state-of-the-art HR competencies required to succeed as an HR leader. In addition, students will acquire solid knowledge and practice in foundational principles relevant to daily HR practice, including negotiations, employee well-being, and labor issues.
The Executive MS in Human Resource Management program leads to the Master of Science degree.
Our program is academically aligned with the Body of Applied Skills & Knowledge (BASK) of the prestigious Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). This alignment assures students that the program prepares them with cutting-edge HR skills and knowledge. By enrolling in the Zicklin School of Business EMS HRM degree, students are taking an important step toward improving their job-relevant skills and working toward important professional certifications. Stephan Dilchert, academic director of the EMS HRM program, spoke with Zicklin News about the BASK designation.
