Executive MS in Information Systems
(Data Analytics)

Curriculum

The Executive MS in Information Systems is offered on a convenient, accelerated schedule using a modular structure. It has 11 courses that require only two weekends a month of class meetings. All additional coursework takes place before and after the weekend classr sessions, supported by an online platform that allows faculty-supervised individual and group work.

The program is offered in a cohort format, with all executive students taking their courses together. This shared learning experience emphasizes opportunities for teamwork and relationship building. Career-long professional networks and lifelong friendships are important benefits of the program and are highly valued by graduates of Zicklin’s Executive Programs.

Foundations (13.5 Credits)

These courses provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills needed by all information technology professionals and managers.  With an orientation towards IS strategy, they form the foundation of the manager’s skill set.

Required Courses for Data Analytics Concentration

These courses focus on fundamental statistical knowledge and the latest in data analytics tools, techniques, and applications. They not only offer technical knowledge that reflects current and prospective trends in technology, but also help you strengthen the managerial and strategic skills you will need to manage these functions in the future.

Culminating Experience

The culminating experience is the international study experience. Recent countries have focused on South Africa, Vietnam, Singapore, and China. Program graduates consistently rate this course as an illuminating experience that enhances their international business perspective and gives them a greater understanding of the impact of our rapidly globalizing world.

Graduation Requirements: To graduate, you must earn 31.5 credits for the Executive MS in Information Systems, maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 grade point average, and satisfy all Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business, and Executive Program policies, rules, and regulations.
